Client Solutions and Operations - Hugo da Silva
Hugo has an MBA from INSEAD and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Tecnico (Lisbon). He has a background in B2B SaaS with Project44, the market leader in supply chain visibility, where he led the most complex projects. These projects focused on global solutions in international trade visibility and supplier’s IT integrations for heavy industry players and logistics service providers.
Hugo also has extensive experience in corporate finance and in supply chain strategy. He helped Kraft Heinz implement supply chain change management programs across the globe.
Product and Engineering Team
The Head of Engineering holds a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, specialized in Systems and with a thesis on mobile robots' control. With over nine years of experience in software development, focusing on web applications and REST APIs, he has a robust skill set, including expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL and JavaScript, among others.
He made notable contributions at leading backend development for insurance communication systems, enhancing web applications, and mentoring junior developers. His work at Accenture involved developing features for web applications and SOAP APIs for a National Tax Authority.
The Head of Product and IT Infrastructure holds a MSc in Aerospace Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico.
He has over over nine years of experience and he served as Senior Engineering Manager, where he demonstrated expertise in Amazon Web Services, DevOps, and Linux, underpinned by strong leadership skills. A big part of his experience was as a Senior DevOps Engineer in a global trade finance management software solutions company, which focus on digitizing, automating, and accelerating trade & post-trade operations in finance, logistics and compliance.
